Vada Pav

imageThis is the desi version continental burger. It is hot and spicy, simply mouth watering.

Ingredients needed:

pav buns – 8

boiled potatoes- 3

finely cut onion – 1

red chilly powder- 2tsp

coriander – 1 tbsp

salt- 1/2 tsp

for the batter:

gram flour- 1 bowl

chilli powder-1/2 tsp

salt to taste

oil for frying

For the green chutney:

mint leaves -1/2 bowl

coriander leaves- 1/2 bowl

green chilly – 4

ginger -1/2 inch

garlic flakes – 4

salt to taste

Other ingredients:


tomato ketchup


1) Make the potato mixture ,by mixing all the ingredients.

2) Mix all the ingredients of the batter with water.

3) Make balls of the potato mixture and fry in the oil.

4) Keep them aside.

5) Grind all the ingredients of the green chutney with water.

6) Cut the pav into two halves.

7) Smear some butter and roast on the tawa.

8) Apply green chutney on one side tomato ketchup on the other side and keep the potato wada in between by pressing with palms.

9) Keep for two minutes on the tawa and serve hot.

10) Simply delicious
